Lynette is a recognized IT channel leader who’s enabled global technology companies to build their brands through integrated communications strategies. She’s the founder of multiple startups, including CommCentric Solutions, a content marketing and public relations agency focused exclusively on the channel.
Since co-founding CommCentric in 2006, technology distributors, vendors and solutions providers have looked to Lynette and her team to more effectively communicate their diverse and fast-changing perspectives on the industry. By working with companies along all points of the IT channel, she is ideally positioned to help CommCentric’s clients better understand each group’s key drivers and build content marketing and public relations programs that address critical business needs.

With more than 25 years’ experience in marketing, public relations and journalism, Chuck oversees CommCentric’s marketing, brand management and overall creative for the firm’s client base. Prior to CommCentric Solutions, Chuck directed corporate communications for Tech Data Corporation, the world’s second-largest distributor of IT products where he oversaw a team of copywriters, graphic designers, presentation specialists and media relations practitioners. He was regarded as one of the most valued members of the company’s senior management team during his 13 years at Tech Data. Prior to Tech Data, he led marketing communications and PR for Plant City, Florida-based Crystals International, Inc., a major producer of freeze-dried juices and related products sold throughout the world.
Chuck’s tech industry experience was honed early in his career with a CompuServe Software Products Division subsidiary when the Internet pioneer experienced meteoric growth. He handled advertising campaigns, media relations and employee communications for the company, Tampa-based Collier-Jackson, Inc. (later GEAC), which published integrated business management software for accounting, human resources and other corporate requirements.
A graduate of the University of South Carolina’s School of Journalism, Chuck initially wrote feature articles for a variety of major newspapers — including the St. Pete Times and South Carolina’s largest, The State — as well as numerous national magazines, before moving into the marketing communications / PR profession in 1987.
